A case of COVID-19 was diagnosed in town last week.
In a letter sent on Sept 7th by the Superintendent Chris MacPhee said that there was a confirmed positive coronavirus case. It was a student from Lawrance Grassi Middle School. Alberta Health Services (AHS) is contacting the families of students, as well as staff or volunteers who may have been in a close contact with the student.
The schools remain open for in-person learning for students following the Alberta Health guidelines to manage Covid-19.
